According to Smith, the Boston Celtics, already enjoying a successful 41-17 season, will extend the already-painful losses for Detroit. With the Pistons sitting fifth from the bottom of the Eastern Conference, the veteran broadcaster believes the Celtics could potentially double the pain by not only sweeping them out of the playoffs, but also in possibly landing the eighth seed and taking their place in the following round.
