The Nightmare Continues: DiVincenzo Scores 38, Knicks Still Lose to Pacers

Knicks Fall to Pacers Despite DiVincenzo’s Hot Outing

The Knicks’ loss to the Pacers Saturday was a difficult pill to swallow. Despite guard Donte DiVincenzo dropping a career-high 38 points on 10-14 from the field and 4-7 from beyond the arc, the Knicks were unable to get the win, losing 140-122. They also set a franchise record for added field goals in a game.

The Knicks’ defense struggled to protect their lead in the late-game. While DiVincenzo was able to put up gigantic numbers, the rest of the offense was stifled. With no one else providing reliable scoring options, the Pacers were able to overcome the deficit and pull out the victory, much to the ire of the Knicks fans.
