The Allure of Joe Flacco

Joe Flacco could be considered the missing link in the championship ambitions of the Cleveland Browns. After struggles with Tyrod Taylor and Baker Mayfield, the Browns offered Flacco the chance to lead the team and complete their impressive roster of talent.

The veteran quarterback has salvaged an otherwise lackluster record for both the New York Jets and the Denver Broncos. So with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens controlling the AFC North it appears Flacco’s experience is the missing piece to rise above the pack.

Cleveland’s Show-Stopping Performance

It seems the Browns are well on their way to becoming the team to watch in the 2020 season. With Joe Flacco at the helm, the Browns burst onto the front of the pack in Week 17, drastically improving on last year’s 7-8-1 record. The team made an action packed entrance to the post season, finishing the season with a 41-35 overtime victory over the Jets, securing their first winning season since 2007.

Flacco threw 3 touchdowns and the Browns defense stepped it up in overtime with an interception by Sheldrick Redwine, helping the team to hit the jackpot. What an incredible way to end the regular season!
